Desired Space does not perform construction work and does not control construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, or jobsite safety. All construction work is the responsibility of the licensed contractor performing the work.

Owner Representation Clarification
Desired Space may provide design consulting and owner representation services on select projects.These services may include design direction, documentation review, coordination assistance between owner, contractor, and consultants, and material or finish consultation.
Owner representation services provided by Desired Space are advisory in nature. Desired Space does not supervise contractor personnel, control construction scheduling, direct construction methods, or manage jobsite safety. The contractor remains fully responsible for construction execution and site management.
Limitation of Liability
Desired Space provides consulting services in the field of interior design and project coordination. While reasonable care is exercised in preparing design recommendations and documentation, Desired Space shall not be responsible for contractor interpretation of design intent, construction execution, concealed or unknown site conditions, manufacturer product changes, or consultant coordination errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Desired Space for any claim related to services provided shall not exceed the total fees paid to Desired Space for those services. Desired Space shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages including project delays, cost overruns, construction defects, or contractor disputes.
Design Intellectual Property
All design concepts, drawings, documentation, and specifications prepared by Desired Space remain the intellectual property of Desired Space unless otherwise transferred through written agreement.
Clients are granted a limited license to use design documentation solely for the specific project for which it was prepared. Design documents may not be reused, transferred to another project, or reproduced without written authorization from Desired Space.
Unauthorized use of design materials constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights.
Contractor Reliance Clause
Contractors and subcontractors acknowledge that design drawings are prepared for design coordination and conceptual intent. Contractors remain responsible for verifying field conditions, confirming constructability, and ensuring code compliance. Desired Space shall not be responsible for contractor interpretation of design drawings or construction execution.
Design Fee Recovery
Design concepts and documentation produced by Desired Space LLC represent professional work product. If design materials are used for construction without proper compensation according to the agreed fee structure, Desired Space LLC reserves the right to pursue recovery of unpaid design fees.
Contractor Coordination Disclaimer
Where Desired Space assists with coordination between the client, contractor, and consultants, those activities are provided solely to facilitate communication and design intent. These services do not constitute construction supervision or project management. Desired Space does not assume responsibility for contractor scheduling, construction quality, jobsite safety, or subcontractor coordination.
